Setting the 2014 GX 460 apart from the other Lexus models is the infotainment system. Rather than using the Lexus Remote Touch controller which I think is one of the worst input methods around, the GX460 uses a touchscreen like Lexus used to use (and Toyota still does). The difference is huge and it makes the Lexus Enform system one of my favorites in any segment. The software is clean, logically laid out and intuitive to navigate around in. I did experience some minor troubles with my iPhone 5 (iOS 7.1.1) but hopefully Lexus and Apple will get that sorted out soon. Be sure to check out the full review of the Lexus’ 7-seat body on frame SUV.
